Role and responsibilities

  • Supervise site works implementation to ensure timely delivery of project activities according to contract terms.
  • Establish under the supervision of the project manager the action plan for Site works
  • Control the quality of implemented activities and respect of environmental good practices.
  • Prepare draft for necessary works changes using AutoCad.
  • Control and approve the IPC received from works contractors.
  • Control and approve the delivery from suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of site activities implementation.
  • Check and eventually suggest revision to contractors’ Terms of References and tender documents for the needed procedures.
  • Manage the assigned project staff, ensuring security condition, clarity over project plans and priorities and encouraging effective team work.
  • Supervise regular maintenance of Project equipment.
  • Control and manage the budget for the assigned tasks, ensuring that all the expenses are according to budget and meet ACRA standards with regard to financial management, including accountability and good governance.
  • Comply with ACRA policies and practice with respect to code of conduct, safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); the knowledge of Kiswahili will be an asset




  • Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 year of experience in Site management and supervision
  • Knowledge of English written and spoke
  • Advances Knowledge of AutoCad and GPS
  • Mastering of MS Office package, Internet, e-mail
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural context



  • Knowledge of Kiswahili will be an asset
  • Experience or knowledge of working in East African Countries
