The project - now in its second edition after the success of the school year 2008/2009 - aims at practicing teachers’ planning skills and students’ cross skills with the setting up of educational pathways on water. The objective is to make aware students and teachers of the high schools of their responsibilities in the preservation of water.

The classes shall participate in a competition for the development of an awareness campaign on water as a common good and human right: the resources from which to take inspiration, in addition to the tutoring service by the promoting associations, are part of a co-design course for teachers, educational workshops for students chosen among seven different topics and visits to water service systems. The best three projects will be rewarded during a final exhibition.

Problems to solve

The project considers the water resource as an intercultural and interdisciplinary topic; food for thoughts for an education that going beyond the awareness of the major problems in human development, shall promote the understanding of the causes and effects at a global level and appeal to the personal and collective action
