With the 2009 Annual Report, ACRA not only reconfirms its belief in transparency but also goes beyond numbers to describe its activities supporting the population living in the rural areas in the South and the North of the world.
A complex and articulated process, which this year has another instrument: a digital version containing words, images and videos in order to enrich and complete each section of the Annual Report, allowing a more flexible and integrated reading.
This brochure is thus just a summary of the 2009 Annual Report, which is available in its full version on DVD-ROM and on the website www.acra.it. This was decided according to the cost containment and environmental policies that drive our association and in order to achieve a closer communication with our stakeholders.
Through video-stories and documentaries we gave voice to the many beneficiaries, partners or donors, who in 2009 worked closely with ACRA making it possible to realize projects and contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of rural people in many countries of the world.
The 2009 ACRA Financial Statement was reported by Il Sole 24 Ore (an Italian daily business newspaper) in the column “Esame di bilancio”, signed by Antonella Tagliabue on 14th June 2010. To ensure maximum transparency, a brief version of the 2009 Financial Statement was also published in VITA - a non-profit magazine – on 9th July 2010.
