Water

Around these theme revolved many ACRA activities in 2009. It could not be otherwise, since without water there would be no life, ecosystems, natural resources, health and agriculture.

The effects of the presence or absence of water have different consequences on women and men. Take action on water - therefore - means take action on gender equity, responsibility balance, on effort and access to education.

Water influences and is influenced by climate change: it is not possible to define strategies for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources without simultaneously facing the issue of climate change and human communities' response to its changing.

Moreover, ACRA strongly believes that water is a human right and a common good.
