ACRA - present in the region of the Far North since 1992 and more recently in the region of the center, in the capital Yaounde - began its activities with a strong local partner in the agricultural training favoring the institutionalization and consolidation of spontaneous groups of farmers so that they could cope more effectively with problems of production, storage and processing of agricultural products and animals.

In particular, ACRA has directed its efforts to the farmers, trying to intervene in the production and marketing of agricultural products with specific training and with the construction of warehouses used as cereal banks in order to cope with periods of famine.

A second line of intervention was aimed at farmers who have been trained on hygiene, animal health, milk supplying and processing. In 2008 in this area ACRA has also taken forward pig production and marketing.
The third area of intervention is health care: more specifically, ACRA supported a local foundation that focuses on the rehabilitation of disabled adults and children - the most vulnerable and exposed group - providing them assistance and a path of reintegration into villages.
