Calgary, October 4 2013 - It will be held in Milan the 2015 Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) with ACRA as the host organization.

“The challenge of hosting the SEWF2015 in Italy is thrilling me because we will bring the world to Milan, - Elena Casolari, ACRA Ceo, declared - we will build a momentum in our country and we will bridge our local experiences to the best international ones. We will set a magnificent umbrella for deep dialogue and conversations on our rapidly changing world, and expectations”.

The Social Enterprise World Forum is the global event for practitioners and intermediaries of Social Enterprise space. The last edition was recently closed in Calgary, Canada, with the participation of 1,200 people from 30 different countries around the world and more than 130 speakers who have share strategies, best practices and innovative solutions to increase the impact of social enterprises in the more marginal areas of the planet. Elena Casolari was among them:

“I left my panel truly inspired by the energy, the commitment and the overwhelming passion infused in all the attendees - Casolari said. One of them challenged us asking whether he should leave the rural community where he had rooted his work and move to an urban setting to secure scalability and a faster growth to his enterprise. You could feel his fire and the rationality behind his internal conflict. I do strongly believe that it is this movement, this emerging crowd that can reshape our world, change our mindset and lead a new path… not because they ask about the appropriate business model, but because the way they ask, the way they run their business, because they care about people first, and because they continuously search for more to impact lives for the better”.

In Calgary ACRA officially received the mandate for the organization of the SEWF2015, Milan, in the year of the Expo, will be the setting of this important world event.

“We will encourage everyone among the thousand to connect and take a step – Casolari concluded - As we did when in Johannesburg, at the SEWF 2011, we firmly decided our commitment in this space and an exciting journey started. Since then we have built trust, deepened our friendships with many change makers around the world, built bridges and raised our own expectations on what we do and how we do things. We have grown and moved forward… We look at the future aware that we are not alone, that there are champions everywhere we can work with and we can count on. See you all in Milan, in 2015”.
